Global Health Education Day
Global Health Education Day is an exciting opportunity to draw together global health researchers, educators, and students. Led by the Institute for Global Health's - Center for Global Health Education, the day event's will include a poster session, prominent guest speakers, a networking luncheon, and informative workshops. Internal and external students, faculty, community members and partners from all disciplines across the Chicago-land area are welcome to attend and apply to present posters on projects relevant to global health.

About Dr. Gavin Yamey
Dr. Gavin Yamey, MD, MPH
Dr. Gavin Yamey is the Director of the Center for Policy Impact in Global Health at Duke, based in the Duke Global Health Institute. He trained in clinical medicine at Oxford University and University College London, medical journalism and editing at the BMJ and public health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
Lise SaffranLise Saffran is the Director of the Master of Public Health Program and Associate teaching Professor at the University of Missouri. She is a graduate of both the School of Public Health at UNC (now the Gillings School of Global Public Health) and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop.About Lise Saffran
Poster Session Details for Presenters
Persons from all disciplines with projects relevant to global health are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 500 words for presentation during the poster session. Internal and external students, faculty, community members and partners are invited to apply. The abstract submission deadline is Wednesday, April 1st.
