Global Health Education Day

Global Health Education Day is an exciting opportunity to draw together global health researchers, educators, and students. Led by the Robert J. Havey, MD Institute for Global Health Center for Global Health Education, this year's event will include a poster session, lunch, and two keynote speakers.

 

2026 Event

Global Health Education Day 2026 will be held on Wednesday, May 13th from 11:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Lurie Medical Research Center (303 E Superior St, Chicago, IL 60611)

Keynote Addresses

The event will feature the keynote addresses "Global Health Education at Kenya Medical Training College" from Wagaki Gicheru, MBChB, chief principal lecturer (Head, E-learning) at Kenya Medical Training College, and "Tackling Oncology Care in East Africa Through Partnership" from Jennifer Morgan MD, assistant professor, Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at University of Minnesota.
