Global Health Education Day
Global Health Education Day is an exciting opportunity to draw together global health researchers, educators, and students. Led by the Robert J. Havey, MD Institute for Global Health Center for Global Health Education, this year's event will include a poster session, lunch, and two keynote speakers.
2026 Event
Global Health Education Day 2026 will be held on Wednesday, May 13th from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. in Lurie Medical Research Center (303 E Superior St, Chicago, IL 60611)
Keynote Addresses
This year's keynote speakers are Wagaki Gicheru, MBChB, chief principal lecturer (Head, E-learning) at Kenya Medical Training College, and Jennifer Morgan, MD, assistant professor, Hematology, Oncology and Transplantation at University of Minnesota.
Poster Presentations
Posters presented at past Global Health Education Day events will remain publicly available to view online.
Abstract submission for posters will be open February 16th - March 16th.
